Once you've enrolled for lessons, and have been matched with your Certified Red Turtle instructor (read more), you'll decide on a lesson time and frequency that works for you (we suggest weekly, as it has proven to be most effective, but will accommodate your needs). Only after you've agreed to a start date and time will you be charged for your first two lessons (read more). Then, the system will watch your activity and update information for you automatically. You'll be able to view lessons purchased and consumed by dates, online. If you have a conflict, you may reschedule or cancel, as you need . If, for instance, you have a vacation planned and let us or your instructor know before you go, your lesson credits will be waiting for you when you return.
You can access all of your account information online 24/7 with a login and password that's sent to your email at the time of registration. All purchase dates, lesson dates and your current balance are viewable, there. You'll be informed one week ahead of any pending charges. Charges only occur when your account is running out of lessons. So, if you go on vacation and skip lessons during that time, your account balance will remain constant and your account will not be charged. You can manage your schedule by communicating with your instructor directly, or via any method on our contact page.
Our cancellation and rescheduling structure, "flex 24" allows you to reschedule your lessons when life delivers the unexpected and ensures that we have accurate information about an instructor's availability with enough advance that we can offer you an alternative time. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, simply contact your instructor or contact us via phone, email or chat.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Customers may receive a full refund of all unused lessons purchases at any time by request via phone, email or chat. If a lesson did not meet customers’ needs or expectations, please do not hesitate to contact us for a full refund. Your customer experience is our highest priority.
We know your time and your lessons are important to you! In flex 24, lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours notice are simply credited back to the customer's account. Should you decide to reschedule, your credit will apply to that lesson instead. Otherwise, it will just apply to your next scheduled lesson. If something comes up at the last minute and you need to cancel with less notice, you'll still have the option to reschedule the lesson that week and use your credit for that lesson, instructor availability permitting.* If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice and cannot reschedule your lesson, we will be unable to credit your account for the lesson as we will not have an opportunity to offer that time to another family.

*Instructor availability for a rescheduled lesson is likely, but cannot be guaranteed. The earlier we know of a schedule conflict, the more opportunities we'll have to find an alternative time that fits with your schedule.
